Zu meinen Bildern:

Ich male Bilder in Mischtechnik (Acryl, ÖL, Pigmente, Ölpastell, Kohle) auf Leinwand oder Papier. Die Arbeit selbst ist eine Verbindung der momentanen inneren Stimmung und dem beherrschen des Handwerks - einiges habe ich im Kopf, vieles ergibt sich bei der Arbeit. Ich begebe mich auf die Suche und folge meiner Intuition, beginne mit einer Reihe von Zufallszeichnungen, grob umrissenen Farbflächen, die im Verlauf überarbeitet, geändert, korrigiert, verworfen oder akzeptiert werden. Die zentrale Bedeutung liegt auf der Komposition, der Farbzusammenstellung und dem aufbringen von Linien als Marker oder Verbindungselementen. Durch die energetische Überlappung von Farben und Techniken gebe ich dem Zufall einen großen Raum in jedem Bild.

Direkten Einfluß auf meine Arbeiten haben die Werke und theoretischen Konzepte von Emil Schumacher (1912-1999) und Joan Mitchell (1925 – 1992). Emil Schumacher ist unbeirrt durch alle Kunststile seinem Weg des Informell gefolgt und Joan Mitchell hat Pionierarbeit in der abstrakten Kunst als Frau geleistet.

About my artworks:

I mostly work in mixed media (acrylic, oil, pigments, oil pastel, coal) on canvas or paper. The artwork itself is a connection of the momentary inner mood and the mastery of the craft - some things I have in my head, many things arise during the work. I go on a search and follow my intuition, starting with a series of random drawings, roughly outlined areas of colour, which are revised, changed, corrected, rejected or accepted in the course of the work. The central importance lies in the composition, the colour combination and the application of lines as markers or connecting elements. Through the energetic overlapping of colours and techniques, I give chance a large space in each painting.The artworks and theoretical concepts of Emil Schumacher (1912-1999) and Joan Mitchell (1925 - 1992) have a direct influence on my work. Emil Schumacher has unwaveringly followed his path of the abstract Expressionism through all art styles and Joan Mitchell has pioneered abstract art as a woman.
